Grooves is an all-day café bar inspired by the Filipino culture we grew up with here.
At the heart of Filipino culture is food—but more than that, it’s about togetherness. It’s friends, family, and strangers coming together, sharing meals, stories, and good times around the same table.
From early mornings to late nights, Grooves moves with the rhythm of the day—serving coffee, food, and drinks as the space naturally shifts from café to bar.
Music is just as important to us as cuisine. Like food, music has a way of bringing people together, slowing things down, and making people feel present. At Grooves, music isn’t background noise—it’s part of the experience.
Most nights, Grooves becomes a listening bar: a place to unwind, to sit with intention, to really hear the music, taste the food, and enjoy the moment. Whether you come alone or with others, Grooves is about being here, being present, and sharing something meaningful.Role: Graphic Design

An independently produced zine developed as a curated platform for visual and conceptual exploration. The project brings together compelling imagery, experimental layouts, and features on creative individuals, serving both as a space for creative expression and a cohesive moodboard that captures evolving artistic influences. The zine demonstrates skills in curation, editorial design, visual storytelling, and concept development.Role: Art director - Photographer - Copywriter

San Francisco Park & Recreation
San Francisco Parks and Recreation commissioned me to design a poster highlighting all public events taking place throughout the month of October. The challenge was to organize a wide range of programming into three clear subcategories, ensuring the information was accessible and engaging for a broad audience.
I was given one month to ideate and develop three distinct design directions. After review, one concept was selected and refined into the final poster shown above. The goal was to create an eye-catching visual system that clearly communicated the diversity of events while remaining inclusive and easy to understand at a glance.Role: Graphic Designer
